Even though this supplement highlights Milk Thistle as it’s selling ingredient, it’s actually more like a multivitamin because it contains a little bit of everything and more. You get a full day’s dose of vitamin A &D, some Bs, C E, iron, copper & selenium. Then there are the added anti- inflammatories like tumeric, garlic, and dandelion. Ginger, flaxseed and artichoke support digestion. Resveratrol, goji berry extract, mushroom extract and green tea are excellent antioxidants. Everything enclosed is supportive for overall health. Dr. Pklyfe’s supplement is vegan, gluten free, soy free, non GMO, GMP certified and tested for purity & potency. You get a 2 month supply in one bottle. The capsules are average sized, simple to swallow and have not caused me any side effects.
Great blend to support liver and overall health. Easy to swallow, no aftertaste, no negative side effects. I lost slightly over 4 pounds without changing my diet/ exercise pattern while taking this milk thistle blend. I attribute it to the detoxification of my liver. Quality product!
DrPKLyfe's Milk Thistle supplements provide 60 days of high potency extracts when taken two capsules per day. All of the capsules arrived intact and there was no loose powder inside the bottle. Each capsule is full and has no taste or smell when consumed as directed. I like that there are small amounts of essential vitamins added to the formula, including D and B12. It was not apparent whether this has D2 or D3 as this is not detailed on the bottle or the product page.
I saw this product advertised elsewhere for $56.16, so the price on Amazon made it worth the try. I started taking this along with a new probiotic. So far, so good. Reports state that some people experience nausea, diarrhea, itching, and bloating when first taking milk thistle. I had none of this. The capsules are easy to swallow, and the reported health benefits associated with the additional ingredients are excellent. I hope the price remains the same on Amazon, so that I can continue using it.
